The coffee trees are old heirloom varieties, grown in heavily shaded mountainside parcels. Labeled in the trade as “Grade 1”, denoting a coffee that’s nearly free of defects and underripe beans.
Intensely flavored and somehow delicate, with hints of jasmine, brown spices, and rich ripe fruit. Recommended for all methods, including espresso if you like a modern, lighter shot.
